Woodworking Out Of Storage Unit

Some people might think that woodworking is a dying art. But, I believe that it is just an art that is not being utilized as much because of the lack of space. For example, I used to live in a small apartment and I couldn’t do any woodworking because I didn’t have the space. But, now that I have a storage unit, I have been able to take up the hobby again. In this article, I am going to show you how I turned a storage unit in to a woodworking shop.

The first thing that you are going to need is a workbench. I made mine out of some scrap plywood that I had in my storage unit. You could also use a door or a piece of plywood that is at least 48″ by 24″. The next thing that you are going to need is a power drill. You are going to need this to drill holes in to the workbench so that you can mount your tools. I mounted my power drill, my jigsaw, and my drill press to the workbench. You could also mount a sanding station or a router table.

The next thing that you are going to need is a tool rack. I made mine out of some scrap metal that I had in my storage unit. You could also use a piece of wood that is at least 48″ by 24″. The tool rack is going to hold your hand tools. I hung my hammer, my screwdriver, my chisels, and my saws on the tool rack. You could also hang your power tools on the tool rack.

The next thing that you are going to need is a work light. I made mine out of some scrap PVC pipe that I had in my storage unit. You could also use a piece of wood that is at least 48″ by 24″. The work light is going to help you see what you are working on.

The last thing that you are going to need is a storage unit. I would recommend a storage unit that is at least 48″ by 24″. This is going to give you enough room to store your tools and your materials.
